ALGALON
I was born
From rock and stone.
The dark sky kept me warm.
Comforter to body and soul.
I slept in rivers
And waterfalls
Water's rush lulling
My mind.
I woke to peaks
And ate the rising sun
For hours.
The coldest ice,
Solely quenched my thirst.
Slowing came
Forgetfulness encroached.
Magic was lost.
Flying had fallen
And memories waned.
Until the warmth
Of the night sky revived
Me
And the stars
Guided
Me.
