Beneath black hair
Like an ebon mask
Obscuring thought and intent
Further
Intimidation is used
Seemingly randomly
Almost more as a safeguard
For self assurance.
Uneasy aires
For unfamiliar company
Used to overseeing,
I am an exercise
In restraint for them
Mirrored in jet optics
Flipped and assimilated
As nature so often supplements
Curriculum for precious intel.
I will always be a mystery,
I will only puzzle myself.
