There's a bully list in my pocket.
A list of ways to dominate
And demean.
A guide to undermining hard work
And denying love won.
My bible of self assurance.
Assurance of never being hurt again
Like the time my heart was truly and unfairly broken.
A misrepresented phantom
Distorted by time and a forgotten perspective.
Donning the mantle of absolute victim
Softens death's blow
As I hand over the deed to my life
Without consideration.
I wish my brain had primaries.
